Pre-Willard Post

I have a long, meandering–one could even say rambling–post about the 1971 film Willard.

One of my strongest objections was the background music. This was four years from the famous theme from Jaws but Willard‘s music sounds like it should be from a movie about an elderly man reminiscing about a long lost love affair.

I wrote paragraphs describing the music as bad before changing my mind–it wasn’t bad, it was just inappropriate for a horror movie about killer rats (although Willard isn’t really that type of movie).

I’m hoping to finish the review tomorrow.
