I tried to base a fantasy creature on the prehistoric marine reptile, the tanystropheus which was approximately 20 feet long with a 10-foot neck. The opposite of the tanystropheus is the thresher shark which can also reach 20 feet but with a ten-foot tail.
This orange dragon is a combination of the two. I meant to color it like a coral snake but completely blew it due to background colors.
In the original picture, there’s a goblin stronghold in the mountains. The mouth of their cavern is visible but the goblins are too small to see.
I see plenty of mistakes but I think it’s better than some of my earlier drawings.
