Two sad deaths at the pet store today. As seen above, the last vanilla lobster molted which left him vulnerable to the cichlids in his tank. His discarded shell is all that remains.
I had to euthanize a small Oscar today. Its eye sockets were empty and it could barely move. Either it was the first in its tank to catch a disease or other larger Oscars had battered it within inches of its life.
I feel bad to think this but I’d rather it be fish murder. If it was a disease, it might spread to the other tanks.
