Giant Zombie Roaches

What’s worse than regular zombies? As the title to this post suggests, GIANT ZOMBIE ROACHES.

The baby hissing cockroaches are going through a growth spurt, and, because they wear their skeletons on the outside, they are repeatedly molting. Instead of shedding their exoskeleton like cicada, theirĀ coveringsĀ flake off like a person with a really bad sunburn or (because the chunks are fairly thick and look meaty) like a zombie.

Like a real life zombie apocalypse , this sparks a hideous cannibalistic orgy of sibling devouring sibling. But unlike real zombies, it’s the zombie roach that gets eaten.

Without their exoskeleton, the naked roach is soft and vulnerable like a boneless chicken wing and the armored roaches love eating them, even without buffalo sauce.

I didn’t like the hamster eating her babies but, with the roaches, it’s sick, sick, sick entertainment.
